The parties involved are The Producer, Go Creator (GoC-The Social Networking Platform for Creative Industry), and the Concept Creator.
These Standard Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the parties involved (The Producer, GoC-The Social Networking Platform for Creative Industry, and the Concept Creator) regarding their rights, obligations, and responsibilities.
These Standard Terms and Conditions, along with any additional terms, documents, or specifications referred to, form the complete legal agreement.
Changes or modifications to these terms may be made at any time and for any reason at the sole discretion of the parties involved. Updates will be communicated by updating the “last updated” dates, and acceptance of revised terms is implied after the posting of such revisions.
The legally binding agreement consists of the Standard Terms and Conditions, any additional terms or documents, and all specifications referenced in the agreement.
“Concept Creator” agrees to submit the concept of Short Films to GoC through official channels as specified by GoC.
“Concept Creator” agrees that the selection of the “Five Concepts” of Short Films from their submission will be final in all aspects, as announced by GoC.
“Concept Creator” agrees to prepare the script and Short Film Bibles for the Short Film Concepts selected by GoC, and to submit them to GoC within the stated cut-off dates. Additionally, “Concept Creator” can invite fellow students/peers to help create the film bible as part of a learning and value-added process, with support from GoC and the Producer in advertising among potential film school students.
“Concept Creator” agrees to be the director of the short film created from the concepts selected by GoC and The Producer.
“Concept Creator” agrees that the Producer will make the final selection of the film Bible and scripts for the Short Film based on merits, and these will be funded by the Producer. The decision of The Producer in script/Film Bible selection or rejection will be final in all aspects.
Yes, “Concept Creator” agrees that The Producer can make changes in the final selected scripts and Film Bibles wherever necessary.
“Concept Creator” agrees that The Producer can contribute partially to the Short Film making funding jointly with FILMVEST (Crowd funding platform).
“Concept Creator” agrees that the IP will be owned by The Producer/GoC, and credits will be given to Film Concept creator students.
“Concept Creator” agrees to start making the Short Film after agreeing to the aforementioned Clauses (1) to (8).
“Concept Creator” agrees that The Producer will arrange the participation of the Short Film in any of the “TOP TEN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVALS,” but the ultimate selection of the Film premiering in such FESTIVALS under the short film category will be subject to approval from their Internal Committees.
“Concept Creator” agrees that the IP Rights of Film Bibles not selected by GoC/The Producer for film making will be held by GoC/The Producer for the next two years.
“Concept Creator” agrees to submit necessary Identity Proof/Student Identification Card with GoC while acknowledging the “Standard Terms and Conditions.”
“Concept Creator” agrees to align with the cut-off dates of the GoC-initiated Short Film Competition.
The Concept Creator agrees to submit short film concepts, prepare scripts and Short Film Bibles, direct the short film, and align with the cut-off dates of GoC-initiated Short Film Competitions.
GoC will announce the selection of “Five Concepts” among the submissions, and OC will make the final selection of scripts and Film Bibles based on merit.
The Producer/GoC will own the Intellectual Property Rights (IP) of the short films, and credits will be given to the Film Concept creator students.
The timeline includes receiving applications by 15 June 2024, initial concept selection by 5 July 2024, script and Film Bible submission by 5 September 2024, and final production stages from November 2024 to March 2025.
GoC/The Producer reserves the right to terminate the agreement if there’s a breach of terms, if performance becomes unlawful, or if there are exceptional circumstances affecting the parties or the service.
A Film Bible is a reference document used by screenwriters containing information on characters, settings, and other elements of a film project.
Changes to the agreement or services will be notified to the parties, along with the effective date of such changes.
GoC/The Producer will need to collect, hold, use, and share Personal Information of Subjects to comply with applicable Laws and in the course of providing products and services.
GoC/The Producer will keep information provided by or relating to Concept Creator confidential, except as required by Law or any Authority.
Concept Creator agrees to preserve authorized restrictions on access and disclosure, including means for protecting personal privacy and proprietary information.
The agreement includes provisions for handling Personal Information, keeping information confidential, and preserving authorized restrictions on access and disclosure.
The invalidity and/or unenforceability of any provision of the Terms and Conditions shall not affect the validity and/or enforceability of any other provision.
GoC and The Producer are not responsible for any loss, failure, damage, or delay in implementing their obligations under the Agreement due to circumstances beyond their control, including natural disasters, riots, wars, fires, floods, labor strikes, civil or military disobedience, and similar events (“Force Majeure”).
Rejection will be at the sole discretion of GoC/The Producer due to Non-Performance of the agreed Terms and Conditions.
Yes, GoC/The Producer may terminate the whole or any part of a Transaction, Service, or the Agreement at any time without prior notice and with no obligation on GoC and/or The Producer.
