Submissions poured in from around the globe, but these talented candidates stood out and made it to the semi-finals through a blind read by the Hollywood producers. Semi-finalists were then tasked with developing their film bibles for the final stage of the competition. Now, with their bibles submitted, we’re eagerly awaiting the announcement of the winner by Hollywood producer Orange Corp*.

 

The fortunate winner will have the incredible opportunity to see their film produced by Orange Corp in the coming months, with the goal of debuting at a major international film festival.

Wan-Yu Chen is a filmmaker based in Taiwan who graduated from Vancouver Film School. With years of experience as an assistant director in the Taiwan TV series and film industry, she has made significant contributions to various projects. The TV movie “Where the Sun Don’t Shine", where she served as the 1st AD, won the Best TV Movie at the Taiwan Golden Bell Awards in 2018. Wan-Yu also worked as an AD on the HBO Asia Series “Folklore Season 2” Episode 1 and the Taiwanese sequel movie “The Rope Curse 3.” Recently, she took on the role of production coordinator for the pilot of the TV series “ZERO DAY” and the documentary series “Taiwan in Transition”. Wan-Yu’s dream is to bring Taiwanese movies to global recognition

Award-winning and prolific, Kristin has big plans and an array of exciting projects seeking producers, including a feature film, a TV drama pilot, and a children’s animation series for ages 6-9.

It is currently streaming on Jio Cinema. With Indian and Kenyan heritage combined they make a powerful duo *Renowned film and media arts institute in Mumbai, India. Founded by filmmaker Subhash Ghai, offering industry-relevant programs in filmmaking, acting, animation, and media management, with strong ties to Bollywood and global entertainment industries.
